Hubris and Sophrosyne is an ever evolving collection of hand-made objects emphasizing found & vintage materials resulting in one-of-a-kind or extremely limited edition pieces including, but not limited to, jewlery, accessories, & interior decorations.

The studio:
Burnside Proper is a collective space in the lower east side of Portland Oregon, housing a salon and showroom that displays work from the in-house studio of Hubris & Sophrosyne designer Tatiana Sakurai. Custom order, wholesale & consignment inquiries are welcome.

The designer:
Tatiana Sakurai was born when the sun was in virgo, the moon in scorpio & pisces rising. She currently enjoys dancing with Tracey Durbin, doing freelance window displays, painting the cloudscapes of Portland and curating a space for vintage goods at House of Vintage. She is sometimes available for freelance hire including design and styling of photos, models, spaces and costumes, as well as organization of events, spaces, people or objects.
